When one of my high school girlfriends got married a couple of years ago, I initially felt a bit left out that she didn't ask me to be a bridesmaid. Then she turned into Bridezilla and I heard from my other friends who were bridesmaids what a nightmare it was.

I was married in 1998, and while I don't weigh the same as on my wedding day, I weigh the same as I did when I got engaged (and the difference is only 10 lbs.) Now my hubby has gained quite a bit more than 10 lbs. since our wedding day...

I had to quickly lose 10 lbs. before my wedding not because I was fat (I weighed 112 lbs. at 5' 2") but because the idiot saleslady in the bridal shop ordered my regular dress size rather than accounting for the fact that wedding gowns run small.

The government has chosen to highly subsidize the production of certain crops, which is why processed foods almost always use High Fructose Corn Syrup rather than cane sugar even though HFCS stimulates the body to produce new fat cells (eek!) while sugar does not.

For women, 18-22% is ideal for non-athletes, and 15% is the goal for athletes. For men, 10-15% is ideal for non-athletes, and 5% is ideal for athletes.

Sorry, but Asperger's *IS* a mild form of autism. There are a couple of Aspies in my family, and they have similar issues as my autistic daughter, but on a much less severe scale.

I am quite certain that some of these "diagnoses" are self-serving for the doctor(s) involved.
